Metal Underground

Num ano brutalmente atípico, a nova realidade do trabalhar a partir de casa permitiu-me estar mais atento a música. De tal modo que na verdade teria que regressar praí a 2013 para encontrar paralelo em termos de número de álbuns ouvidos. Excepto o mês de Agosto, foi apesar de tudo um bom ano de metal com especial destaque para o doom, black e heavy/power tradicional. Este último sub-género não sendo algo que hoje em dia oiça muito, não consigo deixar de lhe dar um destaque especial em baixo, com uma lista de álbuns muito interessantes. Ora, fica aqui um apanhado geral de 2020 das coisas que mais e menos me agradaram. Espero que 2021 seja tão bom quanto este em termos de lançamentos e que marque o regresso dos concertos (ressaca enorme!). Convenhamos que ver e-concertos pela internet não é de todo "my cup of tea". Ainda assim, deu gosto ver a criatividade de Katatonia e Behemoth no que toca a live streamed concerts.

edit: queria pedir um favor à malta do black aqui do forum que acompanha mais a cena "trve" (como podem ver pela lista acima eu sou um gajo mais do death), que me explicassem o hype à volta do novo album de Gaerea. Tudo o que é lista mete os gajos como melhor album de black do ano, eu ouço aquilo e é bom, sei que é bom, mas não é nada de extraordinário. Pelo menos uma dezena de albuns de black melhores e mais interessantes saídos este ano posso eu nomear. Será defeito meu que sou um pouco surdo ou aquilo é mesmo do outro mundo?

edit 2: sei que não interessa a ninguem mas nao tenho mais nada que fazer no dia de hoje, vespera de Natal e nao se trabalha para os meus lados. Este ano só ouvi 4 albuns fora do metal, entao aqui vai o meu top 5 nao metal:
