Agalloch ao vivo em 2008 (& Ragnarök Festival)

We have finished the Sculptured record and it will be out late 2007/early 2008 on The End Records. In other news, Agalloch just finished "The White EP" for Vendlus Records which should be out late this year, or early the next. We have a few European shows scheduled now, and our in the process of scheduling a few American ones as well, all for early next 2008. Lastly, drummer Chris Greene has been replaced by Aesop of Ludicra.

Nem que tenha de levantar dinheiro dos certificados de aforro, omfg. É um festival de sonho. Alías, é ainda melhor. O_O

Por Primordial, Negura bunget e Agalloch valia a pena ir a este festival, mas sendo tao longe e calhando numa altura complicada é mesmo impossivel

Ena, o cartaz já está mais apelativo que o do Wacken. Além de que parece ser mais típico (em termos de vikings/m^2).

"The Ragnarök Metal Festival was founded by Ivo Raab in 2004. On its debut were seven mostly Death Metal and about 120 visitors. It didn't pay off, but Raab decided to give it another try and organized it again in 2005. This year the line-up was specialized on viking and pagan metal and better known bands were casted. Especially Eisregen attracted a lot of people, because their rare live gigs are usually censored but on Ragnarök they would play censored songs. To make this possible, all visitors under the age of 18 had to leave the hall before the gig. To enforce this, under aged visitors were marked with different colored ribbons, making it easy for security to remove them after midnight.
The 2005 festival was also special because of the massive police presence. An anti-fascist union thought that the Ragnarök would be a fascistic festival due to the name token from Germanic mythology and informed the police. As a matter of fact several hundred policemen were in the town what made the visitors feel quite uncomfortable. Another incident was when the town officials and the police told that only 600 people would be allowed in the hall because of security reasons. The hall's tendent has spoken of 3000 and Raab had to negotiate a lot to get the permission to let 1200 inside the hall."

Contesto, ignoram o facto de o integral de sobreposição de [Agalloch]-[MB] ser de ordem superior. Além de que os Battlelore são um bocado ridículos : P

O preço dos bilhetes deve continuar a rondar os 30eur, certo? Vai haver sleeping hall ou é preciso dormir nos hotéis?

Há dois sleeping halls, um ao pé e outro a dois km de distância. Por falar nisso, vou-lhes mandar um mailzito a reservar o meu metro quadrado para dormir : |, já reservei hotel para a noite da chegada e sei que está cheio nos dois dias seguintes.


(agora ia dizer para contar com uns 40€ tendo em conta a qualidade das bandas e vi que no ano passado foi Kampfar. oh, the envy. )
