ISENGARD – HOSTMORKE TO BE RE-RELEASED IN OCTOBER - 11/10/2010
The now hard-to-find second Isengard release, Høstmørke (1995), is shortly to be re-issued. The album features folk rock/metal, including 2 black metal tracks, with all instruments once again performed by Fenriz himself. This new edition of Høstmørke contains a special commentary disc conducted by Fenriz reflecting on the recording process, as well as an insight into the time of the recording.

Swedish doom metal legends CANDLEMASS have been confirmed for next year's edition of the Roadburn Festival. Originally scheduled to celebrate 25 years of doom at this year's Roadburn in April, CANDLEMASS ended up stuck in Stockholm due to logistic complications arising from the volcanic eruption in Iceland.

CANDLEMASS is now scheduled to play on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the 013 venue, Tilburg, Holland. Starting at 15.45, CANDLEMASS will perform a very special two-hour set, which will include "Epicus Doomicus Metallicus" in its entirety; featuring original vocalist Johan Längquist.

Swedish blck metallers ABRUPTUM will release their new album, "Potestates Apocalypsis", in November via Blooddawn/Regain Records. Recorded years ago and now finally unleashed, the CD represents "ABRUPTUM's version of the apocalypse and the four riders of doom," featuring "black subterannean ambience [and] crushing mass of relentless darkness."

ABRUPTUM was one of the bands signed by Euronymous (MAYHEM) to his legendary cult label DSP (Deathlike Silence Productions).

Many have have tried to label ABRUPTUM but the words of Euronymous still reflect the spirit of this band best: "ABRUPTUM is the audial essence of pure black evil." That was Euronymous' description of this orchestra of the dark when the band signed to DSP in 1991.

The release of "Potestates Apocalypsis" will be followed by the last known recording done by ABRUPTUM, "Gehinnom", tentatively due in 2011.

With the earthly demise of Euronymous the orchestra moved on and done releases through various labels. We now have the pleasure to bring you “Potestates Apocalypsis” which was recorded some years ago and is to be followed by the last known recording done by this legend entitled ”Gehinnom”. Planned for release during 2011.
