O projecto que liga o casal Blasphemer(Rune Eriksen) dos Mayhem e Carmen dos Aenima assinou um contracto com a editora Season of Mist.A formaçao completa-se com o baixista Joao Ferreira e o baterista Joao Samora.O album de estreia "burdens" foi gravado no Top Room Studios na Noruega e sairá no inicio de 2006.

The creation of AVA INFERI
The idea behind AVA INFERI can be traced back a long way, to 1994 to be exact, but it is only now that the surroundings allow the band to happen. AVA INFERI was created in Almada, Portugal by guitarist and songwriter Rune Eriksen.
The ultimate idea behind this incarnation was to release and channel all frustration and misery that life sometimes brings upon us... but also, and perhaps more importantly, to give birth to an entity that could be used freely and independently. A portal for the never-ending well of expression and creativity.
As soon as the idea of AVA INFERI was put out and in motion, the formation completed itself quickly. Besides Carmen Simoes (vocals), who was also a member of different Portuguese outfits such as AENIMA and POETRY OF SHADOWS, the others followed by chain reaction. Bassist Jaime Ferreira was introduced to Rune during a closed gathering and with Jaime’s connections Joao Samora joined to play the drums.
The band started rehearsing the written material early 2005, and about 6 months later AVA INFERI entered Top Room studio, Norway, for a three week recording of their debut album “Burdens”. The title describes the collective soul of the band, with its clear roots referring to the past and its troubled paths. Other titles included on this album are “A glimpse of Sanity”, “Sinisters”, “Vultos” and “The fate of Mountains”, rooted in all is the essences of pain and fear, as well as the eerie and the unknown. The album is to be released on Season of Mist early 2006.

Estou muito desapontado com o mp3 que ouvi,até mesmo a gravação está uma merda para o tipo de som.Podiam ter feito bem melhor e sinceramente vejo umas falhas fodidas na voz da Carmen,coisa que nunca tinha ouvido....não deve estar habituada a fazer este tipo de abordagem.....bem,sucks,ainda por cima saiu dos Aenima,temos pena....
