CVLT Nation Premiere:
QRIXKUOR “The Divine Architect”
Back in 2014, we posted this article to our site about QRIXKUOR’s demo (which has since sold out of all four pressings!). Now they are back with one of the raddest death metal releases of 2016, entitled Three Devils Dance, via Invictus Productions on April 30th. QRIXKUOR creates the kind of death metal that swirls around your skull, leaving only thoughts of cosmic peril in its wake. I fucking dig this band so much because of the different layers of sonic filth that they expose the listener to with each listen. CVLT Nation is beyond fucking honored to be sharing with you a new QRIXKUOR song entitled “The Divine Architect.” This song needs to be shared, it’s that sick!

Witch Vomit - A Scream from the Tomb Below
WITCH VOMIT - A Scream from the Tomb Below
If there´s one place in the U.S. where underground Death Metal is brimming with talent as of lately, that´s Portland (Oregon).
Bands such as Torture Rack, Sempiternal Dusk, Symptom, Ritual Necromancy, Shroud of the Heretic or Triumvir Foul have been critically acclaimed worldwide, and now it´s time to add a new name to the list: Witch Vomit.
Formed back in 2012 and featuring members of other local acts such as Torture Rack and Brain Rot, these disciples of rottenness and putrefaction have just excreted their debut full-length album, "A Scream from the Tomb Below", that´s a filth-ridden, skin-peeling and gory mess of ancient Swedish Death Metal and Death/Doom Metal influenced by the likes of Nihilist/Entombed, Autopsy, Carnage, Impetigo, Convulse, Grave, Asphyx, Incantation, Bolt Thrower, Demigod, early Darkthrone, Crematory and Disgrace.
The music is an exercise in throbbing, pulsating Death Metal that will scar your soul and turn it inside out.
The intent is malicious and evil, the air is rife with a sewer-like stench and the sound is darker than your past.
"A Scream from the Tomb Below" could very well be this year´s underground Death Metal highlight, for Witch Vomit do everything right by the long-established underground standards, and foul it up some more just for the extra repulsive value.
Recorded and mixed at Red Lantern Studios (U.S.A.). Mastered by Damian Herring (of Horrendous fame) at Subterranean Watchtower Studios (U.S.A.).
Cover art by Matt Stikker. Layout by Ola Sjöberg (of God Macabre fame).

Re: Death-Metal, Darkness Prevails Under The Ibex Moon
Krypts
Krypts returns this October! "Remnants of Expansion," the follow-up to 2013's debut album, "Unending Degradation," will be available on CD/LP/CS and digital formats from Dark Descent Records.
Krypts - Remnants of Expansion - Due out Oct 28th on CD/LP/CS and digital. Pre-orders begin September 22nd.
Three years may have passed since ‘Unending Degradation’ but KRYPTS have lost none of their excruciating power that made their debut album such a special one, erecting a bridge in between their homeland glorious and downtuned early 90’s glory and something even more sinister and doom-ladden. And the arrival in 2015 of Jukka Aho from GOREPHILIA on second guitar has done nothing to alter that rare chemistry, on the contrary…
Just like its predecessor, ‘Remnants of Expansion’ reeks of that ancient feeling but dives even deeper into the abyss. Clocking altogether at 33 minutes, there’s something very majestic and solemn about its five songs. Like a serpent circling its prey, the Finns like to play shadow and it’s never
truer than on the album’s opener, the monstrous 10 minutes + ‘Arrow of Entropy’. But its follow-up ‘The Withering Titan’ for instance starts off with Mongol throat chanting, two minutes later the listener is buried under a barrage to bury the listener under a deluge of blastbeats, only to let the
instrumental title-track drown you in the cold and bottomless waters of funeral doom.
Once again adorned with Timo Ketola cryptic artwork, ‘Remnants of Expansion’ is like a big haunted house at a top of a dead trees infested hill on the outskirts of town by a moonless night. Grand in scope, seemingly devoid of any human touch and yet towering over us like a malevolent entity. Behold. - written by Olivier Zoltar Badin
"Entrailed to the Breaking Wheel" is streaming now on our BandCamp page.
Track list:
I. Arrow of Entropy
II. The Withering Titan
III. Remnants of Expansion
IV. Entrailed to the Breaking Wheel
V. Transfixed

Concordo em relação a Krypts tanto à música como o album. Já a demo é superior até agora.
Bolzer nem sei o que dizer, ainda só ouvi uma vez, mas espero que tenham melhores malhas.
