Ainda não lhes peguei :z vale a pena?

Valem ambos a pena, sim. Gosto do de Sargeist embora não chegue ao nível do Let The Devil In, o que também não se afigurava fácil. Quanto ao de Enthroned, tenho de o ouvir mais vezes para ter uma opinião mais definitiva, embora o primeiro impacto tenha sido positivo.

TERRATUR POSSESSIONS is proud to announce the monstrous debut full-length album of Icelandic Black Metal band SINMARA, to be released xx.xx.xx on CD and DLP.
The album was recorded, mixed and mastered over a period of 2 years by Stephen Lockhart at Studio Emissary, resulting in a world class production, and features stunning artwork and layout from Alexander L. Brown.

SINMARA was previously known under the name of Chao, having released under that name the demo cassette Spiritus Sankti also on TERRATUR POSSESSIONS. The change in name sees the band develop upon their foundations of chaotic agression contrasted with haunting melodies, bringing forth a newfound maturity and focus of composition, masterful musicianship and a zealous intensity of execution. Along with the change in name there has also been a change in line-up, and the band now features members of Wormlust, Rebirth of Nefast and Svartidauði.

Aphotic Womb takes the listener on a descent into a writhing underworld of diverse soundscapes and themes, from the harmonic chaos and orchestrated madness of “Verminous”, to the mournful elegy of the title track, and culminating in the eschatological epic “Mountains of Quivering Bones”.

A demo já era boa, mas isto soa ainda melhor.

Nunca gostei do Enthroned, sempre achei uma banda genérica, sem identidade. Mas eu nunca tinha os escutado com o Nornagest nos vocais e, pra falar a verdade, não tinha a menor curiosidade.

Fui forçado a escutar o novo álbum, pois a revista que eu escrevo pediu que eu fizesse uma resenha + entrevista. Desanimado, coloquei o Sovereigns pra rodar e me supreendi. Muito bom! Os vocais do Nornagest são infinitamente superiores ao rasgado clichê do Sabathan, além das composições serem mais maduras e com uma produção robusta.

Fiquei curioso em escutar os outros álbuns com o Nornagest e adorei o Tetra Karcist. Ainda melhor! Pena ser bem curto.
