Five airplane rides. Two car rentals. Many hours of travelling, including 4 hours in a train. Four countries (Switzerland, Germany, Czech Republic and Poland). Snow, wind, cold weather. A lighting strike on our plane's left wing during our return trip to Oporto—we were in the eye of an hurricane while landing yesterday (not kidding, those were the captain's words). Very little sleep and a lot of weariness. Are we unhappy, depressed or sad? NO WAY! We loved every minute of this weekend's adventure. It was a huge, huge party, split between Zug's Monthly Assault and the Ostrava's Guttural Gore Grind Mafia festivals.
First of all, we really want to show our deepest gratitude to Fabio Rainer , the main promoter of the show. Also, a big thanks to all the bands, especially those who helped us with musical instrument logistics during this show. Your help won't be forgotten, guys! The sound and backline technicians were also perfect!
Last but not least, thanks to our audience, who turns our gigs into warm displays of friendship and love. Thanks to all the friends we met on the road (both old and new, way too many to tag on this post).
Once again, the Portuguese diaspora gave us lots of love!
Thank you all! You made this weekend become part of our band's greatest memories.
