OAK - REVEAL DETAILS OF "LONE" DEBUT ALBUM!

Atmospheric death/doom metal band OAK with GAEREA members are on the verge of releasing their debut full length titled ‘Lone’ to be released worldwide on all formats via Transcending Obscurity Records. OAK fit well alongside their doom metal label mates such as Officium Triste, Jupiterian, Eremit, Drug Honkey, Illimitable Dolor, Et Moriemur, Towards Atlantis Lights, etc.

Label owner Kunal Choksi states, “I’ve had a fantastic experience working with Gaerea and when I came to know that their members are involved in another band playing doom metal called Oak, I was immediately intrigued. Upon listening to their music, it was clear that I had to work with them. Their level of professionalism is maintained over here as well, with everything sounding just the way it should and also careful consideration been given to the artwork and overall aesthetics. Despite being a new band, the members are experienced and know their way around things and I’m sure this will go down as a significant release in the genre in 2019.”

Oak members comment, “We’re thrilled to finally announce Oak’s first Full length is coming to you via Transcending Obscurity Records. Being friends with Kunal for such a long time and having worked with TOR in the past, it felt very natural to deliver this first experience via the Indian ranks, which never stop to amaze us. Oak is formed by passionate individuals and you can’t often find such committed team to work with. We feel at home. “Lone” is a long journey where you find yourself in the middle of multiple scenarios and you can almost see the landscaping as you hear the gigantic sounds that echo through all of those places. From the burden one could carry to hold this world to the claustrophobic maze that traps your soul, “Lone” was fully produced and mastered at Stone Sound Studios (The Ominous Circle, Colosso, etc,) by Ricardo Oliveira. The majestic cover art was crafted by one of the most talented hands of our time, Paolo Girardi.”

Drummer Pär Johansson comments: "The lyrical content of this song is based around the subject of betrayal and is consciously written to serve different ontological realities, whether it's on a global or a personal scale. The musical side of things is heavily influenced by some of my all-time favourite musicians and big chords are to be expected. Force the end!"

More than twenty years after their formation in northern Sweden, innovative death/black metal hybrid DIABOLICAL proves to be more vital than ever and puts forth “Eclipse”, a concept album reflecting on the dark side of humanity that forces the listener to explore his own diabolical side. The album is a tour de force with spitting musical and aesthetic complexity swirling around a dense soundscape of excellently distilled and refined ideas, altogether forming a rare display of musical craftsmanship equaled by very few contemporary metal bands. With nine gracefully raging songs, “Eclipse” presents DIABOLICAL as a mature and sophisticated band on the rise to new heights.



EUROPEAN TOUR!

The band will also hit European roads in 2019, and will give hell-of-a-show in more than thirty cities across the Old Continent, along with SepticFlesh, Krisiun and supports. The tour kick-off will take place @ Turock, in Essen, DE on March 8. Check out the dates below.

European death/ black machine BELPHEGOR will participate on the DEVASTATION ON THE NATION festival tour. During the band's raid through North America they will shred 25 Rituals in May and June, co-headlining with DARK FUNERAL and special guests INCANTATION.

"Hail! What a lineup," commented BELPHEGOR vocalist/ guitarist and founding member Helmuth. "This will be one of the most brutal tours throughout North America in 2019. An honor – this horror!“

The album is a tour de force with spitting musical and aesthetic complexity swirling around a dense soundscape of excellently distilled and refined ideas, altogether forming a rare display of musical craftsmanship equaled by very few contemporary metal bands. With nine gracefully raging songs, “Eclipse” presents DIABOLICAL as a mature and sophisticated band on the rise to new heights.

Today, Norwegian ultra-doom titans ABYSSIC stream the entirety of their highly anticipated second album, "High the Memory", at heavily trafficked web-portal NoCleanSinging.com. Set for international release on February 22nd via Osmose Productions, hear ABYSSIC's High the Memory in its entirety exclusively HERE.

ABYSSIC is a unique symbiosis of atmospheric approaches in funeral death/doom, with black and prog influences. The signature is enhanced by orchestrations with Mellotron, Minimoog, and upright bass.

ABYSSIC is a result of a collaboration between Memnock (Susperia), Elvorn (Susperia), and André Aaslie (Funeral, Images At Twilight, Gromth, Profane Burial), and together with Asgeir Mickelson (ex-Borknagar, Ihsahn), they recorded the debut album "A Winter's Tale" in February 2016 for Osmose Productions.

Later in 2016, Tjodalv (Susperia, ex-Dimmu Borgir, Old Man's Child) and Makhashanah (AKA Henriette Bordvik - Asagraum [live], ex-Sirenia) joined ABYSSIC, and together with Memnock, Elvorn, and Aaslie, they bring you the ABYSSIC darkness with album #2, "High The Memory".
