Glenn Danzig today announced the highly anticipated return of his BLACKEST OF THE BLACK tour. In its latest reincarnation since 2008, the tour’s lineup will feature Danzig, legendary Bay Area hell-thrashers Possessed and Swedish black metal pioneers Marduk, who are making a rare & long awaited U.S. touring appearance. Toxic Holocaust and Withered will be rounding out the five band bill. The 19-city tour kicks off on October 25th in Albuquerque, NM.

Season of Mist is proud to welcome the first Czech band of the label's history by adding SILENT STREAM OF GODLESS ELEGY to the roster! The folk metal act's sixth album has been scheduled for an early 2011 release.

Guitarist Radek Hajda wrote the following statement: "Slava! After five albums and intensive work on our new record, it's actually a kind of big satisfaction for us to proudly announce the new SILENT STREAM OF GODLESS ELEGY album is going to be released worldwide by Season of Mist. Supported by this label with a roster of amazing bands like Septicflesh, Cynic, Rotting Christ or Morbid Angel, we can finally show the world that there is the other way of what is called "folk-metal" nowadays. Look forward to a unique combination of traditional Moravian folk music and melodic doom/death metal, look forward to SILENT STREAM OF GODLESS ELEGY. Thank for your trust in us, Season of Mist. - What can you tell us about the studio-work for the new album during the last week?


Meanwhile everything is recorded, except for the clean vocals. Maybe we will change some small details,
but more or less the recordings are done. We had some hard and long days, as we wanted to complete
the whole recording until this weekend, to be able to start with the mix on monday, after having a free weekend.
Unfortunately there was not enough time left for the clean vocals, so we have to catch up for this
before the mixing next week.


- What can you tell us about the songs?


The new album contains seven tracks, and the songs have a running time of five - seven minutes.
Short Intros / Outros are not included here. This time we used several real instruments, that on
former albums were included as samples instead. Beside that we included alot of acoustic guitars,
real persussions etc.


- Who performed on the new album?


The same individuals as on the last two albums agreed to contribute to this album, and I am
very glad about that. Beside that also Alboin played Bass on one track. Everyone did an
outstanding job, and as well as on the former albums, they all added fantastic elements
to the album due to their skills and dedication.


- How exactly will the recordings go on next week?


Early next week we will record the missing clean vocals and choirs, make some Intros / Outros,
and change smaller details if needed. As soon as those things are done, the mixing will start,
followed by the mastering. So the album should be done withing the following one or two weeks.
