I Won't say much, but I will say this, holy fuck this is going to be a monstrous effort, but a sincere pleasure to write a comprehensive, balls out follow up to U.P.

I am here in Atlanta, I drove up after my art show which went really really well for my first showing, I sold 6 pieces and I wish to thank those who purchased very much,Including Skid Rows Scotti Hill.... and I look forward to doing it again soon. So my drive up was only 8 hours, and i got here last night around 8 pm, hung with flynn and talked till late in the evening, and also viewed this ultra rare footage of Atheist recording Piece of Time in 1988, we stayed at a hotel in Tampa for a week, and were so excited to be recording our first record we were 19-20 yrs old and full of metal. Some really classic footage of The late great Roger Patterson, that no one on this planet has seen, not Flynn, not any one from back in the day...this was sitting in my garage for the last 6 years after someone gave it to me while i was on tour with Neurotica in 2002 on the Ozzfest tour. A girl we used to know was in line and the signing booth and gave me these vcr tapes, and they are amazing, including roger tracking "I Deny" and all of us at different points with this video camera was was actually a bit rare in 1988. This will most certainly be on our planned Double DVD for 2009.

Fucking 20 years ago this week we were recording literally an album that helped define our sound as a band, Roger's Birthday is this week coming up, he would be turning 40 yrs old in a few days, and i think he would be so excited to see the passion we are pouring into making this new record. It is inspired by him, and I am certain he knows it. Tonight me and flynn sat for 4 hours and worked out this unreal section of music, that honestly is just inspiring, we had such a great time working through these pieces of music that just appeared on our brains on this night. It is the 20th anniversary of our 1st record, and we have come full circle, and tonight we wrote together what will truly be an honest continuation of a journey we started 20 years ago, and never really got to finish....... we can hardly wait!!

Also caught a Gnostic practice as well today (Steve Flynn's newest band) And they were staggeringly tight!!!

There record will be coming out in early 09, produced by yours truly, and we plan on making that announcment soon . As some of you know Chris Baker and Sonny Carson from Gnostic played on all of the reunion touring we did in 06 and 07, and they will be joining us, along with Tony Choy on this new record.I also talked with Rand Burkey and while he will not be able to do the touring with us, he will take part in upcoming writing sessions with me when i get back to Florida, we are going to put pieces of music together, and I will bring them up to atlanta , and see how it goes, as you all know he is a very unique player with a very specific style that we appreciate as much as you do, so the whole family is involved for this one ladies and gents. Gotta jet but watch for updates this week, and once again thanks to you all for helping us make this happen, we will not let technical metal fans down....but more importantly, we won't let Roger down!It's going to be Hauntingly, SICK, and Insane!!! Blabbermouth reports that Florida death metallers Cannibal Corpse will be touring Europe in early 2009 alongside Finnish gaylords Children Of Bodom.

Finland’s CHILDREN OF BODOM will team up with the death metal legends CANNIBAL CORPSE and fellow Finns DIABLO for a full-scale European tour in February/March. So far the following dates have been announced:

Aaron: Would you believe it, it's even darker? I've pushed the vocals further finding more melodies, as have the guitars, and of course the violin has added a deep range of feeling. It's quite a fresh, melodic sound despite being utterly despondent.

Zero Tolerance Press Release:

In a rare cover-feature interview, Tom Gabriel Warrior, once of Celtic Frost and now heading Triptykon, speaks to Swiss surrealist visual artist HR Giger for issue 026 of the UK's Zero Tolerance magazine. The interview, conducted by Warrior over two sessions at Giger's Zurich home, is an intimate and revealing look at the artist's life and work, which has included Oscar-winning designs for the film "Alien", not to mention numerous paintings and sculptures, many of which have graced album covers such as Celtic Frost's "To Mega Therion" and "Heartwork" by Carcass. During the interview, Giger reveals to Warrior just how he feels about the use of his art on album covers, and much more.

Warrior's interview with Giger is the inaugural feature in the first of an all-encompassing two-part special on the relationship between extreme music and visual art. Among those sharing their thoughts on Giger and beyond are Jello Biafra, Cradle Of Filth, Darkthrone, and Satyricon.

Moonspell: DVD final release date and Euro tour news

According to a Century Media spokesman and executive producer of the DVD, the official release date of the long awaited was now postponed to the 8th of December (Germany). This will be the first country to release it, followed by Portugal on the 9th and all other Europe territories upon to the 15th. The US release will be in early January and an exact date will be announced asap. The reason for this final delay was(quote): "our pressing plant couldn't keep the guaranteed deadline due to an overwhelming production demand for the christmas business. we therefore had to postpone the release date once more to the 8th and 15th of december (depending on the territory)." Furthermore there will be three formats/editoions:

- one limited edition kingsize mediabook with two DVDs and one CD (comes with a 28-page booklet and an additional slipcase with gold foil print)

- one standard edition with two DVDs (in a super jewel DVD box --> comparable to a high-format CD jewel case / this one will have a 24-page booklet plus an additional 4-page booklet with the changeable cover artworks with the four members' faces)

- one standard CD jewel case (includes the audio CD of the limited edition / comes with a 20-page booklet and an additional 4-page booklet in the same vein as for the standard DVD -->

The DVD will be also available on the Moonpell's merch booth on the forthcoming European tour, the Filthfest, between the 1st of December up to the 20th.
