Today we've started with the drum recording. The drums are now fully rigged and everything is all set to start recording. Stay tuned for more info! Meanwhile you can check out some new images from the process.

Pessoalmente gostei muito da sonoridade desta banda de folk.

Idem. O Hin Vordende Sod Og Sø é um álbum bem porreiro, muito na onda de Otyg para quem não conhece, mas com vozes masculinas gritadas à là BM.

Segundo pessoal nos fórums da Nuclear Blast, o álbum vai ser duplo; vai sair em duas partes, a segunda seis meses depois da primeira, mas ambas com o mesmo nome.

Cá se espera mais um bom álbum de folk metal, de preferência com mais do artwork excelente do Fredrik Rahmqvist.

Vale a pena conhecer esta banda.

O album vai se chamar: "Tusind Tabte Sjæles Kakofoni" (The Cacophony of Thousand Lost Souls) e vai ser lançado em 2008.

ASMEGIN are currently in the studio to record their newest release Tusind Tabte Sjæles Kakofoni (The Cacophony of Thousand Lost Souls) This double concept album, to be released in mid 2008, delivers ASMEGIN's classic Folk elements along with a darker atmosphere and a veil of progressive elements.

We've found some guys to help us out with the recording. After Tommy left the band Bjørn Tore Erlandsen will record the drums on TTSK. Additionally, Didrik Telle will record the bass since Tomas wasn't able to join in the process.

ASMEGIN is still busy in the studio, recording new material. "Tusind tabte Sjæles Kakofoni" (Cacophony of a Thousand Lost Souls) will be released with a little delay in November 2008. While the likeable folk elements will be kept coming strong, the new album will also present a darker atmosphere, and a slight progressive touch.

Esse "slight progressive touch", é normalmente uma frase que me assusta. Estragou COMPLETAMENTE Vintersorg e Borknagar.

De resto, espere que o album mantenha um lineup de convidados tão bom como o primeiro. Composições que eram bastante decentes foram em muito beneficiadas pelas excelentes prestações dos convidados, Lazare em particular. Ou mesmo composições menos que decentes. Musicas que não aprecio na demo, gostei bastante no album.
