Steve Tucker:

After many problems and much discussion with the people around me, the people I trust. I have decided it is necessary for me to step away from Morbid Angel. It has been a long trip with a lot of great shows and I have made many friends along the way. The Morbid Angel fans that not only excepted me ,but reveled in my being a part of the band, have been the greatest thing about my time in Morbid Angel, they are the reason I came back to the band.

There are many reasons for me leaving the band, personal reasons, musical reasons and very logical reasons. All of which will stay between me and the band . Morbid Angel existed many years before I came along and will for many more I am sure.

I have enjoyed playing with some great musicians and touring with some great bands and meeting some incredible people all over the world. To all these people I say "Thank You" and we will meet again.

I am not done with the music business by any means, I will now be moving into other areas of the business, things I have always enjoyed, but didn't have time for. I will be moving into much more recording ,production and management, so any bands interested in working with me, feel free to contact me at hewhosleeps@hotmail.com .

Não ligo mesmo aos últimos trabalhos de MA, no entanto, já os vi ao vivo com o ST. Não me importava nada mesmo de os ver com o David Vincent, mas pelo que sei o homem anda, digamos, meio para o estranho, pelo menos, visualmente. Não sei se ainda se enquadrará em MA.

"Embora os fãs já estivessem em polvorosa pela volta do baixista/vocalista original do MORBID ANGEL, David Vincent, ao grupo, o músico anunciou que apenas fará os quatro shows da turnê pela América do Sul e voltará a seu projeto pós-Morbid Angel, a banda GENITORTURERS. O website oficial do grupo publicou o seguinte comunicado:

"Pediram a Vicent apenas para cobrir esses quatro shows que o Morbid Angel teve que reagendar devido a inesperada saída do baixista/vocalista Steve Tucker. Ele concordou em tocar nesses quatro shows na América do Sul e por equanto este é o único compromisso com eles. Seu 'status' no Genitorturers não mudou e ele está atualmente em estúdio trabalhando no novo álbum da banda. Além disso, o Genitorturers estará anunciando alguns shows nos Estados Unidos em outubro próximo".

Steve Tucker anunciou sua saída do Morbid Angel no dia 13 de agosto."

Eu quando postei o coment do Steve devia ter posto o texto todo para não haver confusões...

World Management would like to announce that the shows for Morbid Angel in South America ( Mexico, Chile and Columbia ) have been moved to September 4-11. Bass and Vocals will be handled by David Vincent. The guys looks forward to their shows in South America. Morbid Angel and World Management would also like to thank Steve Tucker for his contribution on several Morbid Angel records as well as multiple great tours. We all wish him well and are sure he will succeed in his new endeavors.

Não dá a entender que ele irá integrar a banda de novo... só mesmo a tour.

o steve tucker e muito bom, mas o vicent nos seus tempos de "mauzão" era imbativel eheh, o homem rulava, era bom k voltasse a banda apesar de andar ultimamente com um aspecto "gay"

Como por exemplo...

Para não ir mais longe, basta citar o último "Heretic" que me soou a algum "show off" e com menos conteúdo do que estava à espera, menos "alma" também. Deu-me a impressão de que o Azaghtoth e o Sandoval confundiram as sessões de gravação do disco com sessões de "workshop" ou algo do género... Anyway, é apenas uma opinião...
