Problemas de saúde fazem vocalista deixar o Bolt Thrower

O vocalista Dave Ingram (foto) não faz mais parte do grupo britânico Bolt Thrower. Segundo nota oficial do conjunto, o ex-cantor do Benediction, que entrou no Bolt Thrower em 1998, está saindo por causa de problemas pessoais e de saúde (não foi informado oficialmente qual o problema de saúde do músico). "Ele próprio decidiu que seria melhor sair do grupo para se concentrar na total recuperação de sua saúde. Gostaríamos de agradecer ao Dave pelos seis anos que ele dedicou à banda e desejamos tudo de bom para ele no futuro", disse a nota oficial do conjunto. O último disco lançado pelo Bolt Thrower foi Honour, Valour, Pride, de 2001, o único álbum de estúdio da banda com Ingram nos vocais. O próximo trabalho ainda não tem data para começar a ser gravado, uma vez que o conjunto agora vai iniciar a busca por um novo vocalista.

BOLT THROWER: Vocalist KARL WILLETTS Rejoins The Fold - Nov. 18, 2004

British extreme metal pioneers BOLT THROWER have announced the return of original vocalist Karl Willetts as a full-time member.

Willetts rejoins the group as the replacement for Dave Ingram, who left the band in August due to long-standing "health and personal problems."

Commented Karl: "It's fantastic to be a part of the mighty BOLT THROWER again. It feels great to be back with the guys, I can't wait to get my teeth into the new songs and get back on the road again. I've got some unfinished business to tend to...!"

The now complete line-up of BOLT THROWER — Willetts, Gavin Ward, Barry Thomson, Jo Bench and Martin Kearns — will spend the next few weeks finishing off the new material before going into the studio to record their eighth album. The upcoming CD will be the follow up to 2001's "Honour, Valour, Pride", which was the only BOLT THROWER release to feature Ingram on vocals.
