“Icaros”, the promotional track from the “Simulacra” album can be now heard on the band’s Facebook and the recently created MySpace profile.

Set to be released in Poland on the 21st of March 2012 on Icaros Records the record will come out as 3-winged digipack along with 16-pages booklet with an amazing artworks created by Michal ‘Xaay’ Loranc (Nile, Kamelot, Vader, Behemoth, Necorphagist etc.). The album feat. session appear. of Lestath (METransamissionAL) and Flumen (Asgaard) as well as guest appear. of Roman (Lecter) and Jacek Grecki (Lost Soul).

The band is now searching out for other labels to release their new record worldwide.

Sem duvida mais uma excelente malha para este novo album que está em pré venda. Por tudo que ouvi e em breve vou publicar em forma de critica/apresentação ao album, este é uma das grandes apostas para 2012, sem duvida um album excelente para fãs de metal extremo, por certo fãs de Dimmu Borgir, Emperor, Behemoth, Moonspell, Ancient, Cradle of Filth(principalmente na era até "Dusk and her Embrace" não iram ficar desapontados com este som excelente com dose perfeita de dinamismo, melodia, agressividade e até um romântico obscuro e ensombrado. Sem duvida um album a não perder com uma roupagem excelente pelo artista gráfico Michał XAAY Loranc ((Nile, Kamelot, Vader, Behemoth, Necorphagist etc.). A não perder!!

O novo album dos Devilish Impressions (Polónia - Musica Extrema Moderna) "Simulacra" irá ser lançado pela editora Lifeforce Records em 30 de Julho na Europa e a 31 de Julho na América do Norte tal como comentado no site oficial da editora:

"We at Lifeforce Records are extremely excited to welcome Polish blackened death metal act DEVILISH IMPRESSIONS to the family. It was very easy to convince us with their qualities as musicians and as extremely professional and hard working people! The bands Lifeforce Records debut and third album “Simulacra” will be released July 30th in Europe and July 31st in North America."

Devilish Impressions , Polish Modern Extreme Metal warriors post a live video to "The Scream of The Lambs" from their latest album "Simulacra" (2012 Lifeforce Records). The video was shot in Voronezh / Russia, during the band’s 'Fear no Gods of The East Tour 2013'. Watch the video here:

In the meantime the band’s working on their new album. On a different approach toward the sound comments Devilish Impressions’ mainman, Quazarre:

“Seeing the band being slowly labeled in a way we have no strict or definitive connections with, we've decided to redefine the ideas behind our sonic path. That’s why we shall not trigger the drums at all. Also the guitar sound has changed, simply due to the fact the new stuff has been nailed with a 7-strings. Moreover, we've reduced the virtual instruments (synthesizers) to the absolute minimum.”

In return you're going to be surprised with other means of artistic expression. The band has joined forces with a ritual dark ambient project called Contemplatron for the recording sessions of overtone chanting and additional instruments, such as dril bu (ritual Tibetan hand bell) and Chinese Chau gong.

‘Simulacra’, the band’s latest opus up to date, nominated for a 2012 METAL STORM AWARD was voted one of the Best Melodic Black Metal / Metalgaze Album.
