MORTE INCANDESCENTE "Coffin Desecrators" CD 2007 (Goatowarex)
After ABSOLUTUS from Belgium, LYRINX from the UK, Goatowarex brings me a gem from Portugal...and it is MORTE INCANDESCENTE. Everytime i am holding something created by NOCTURNUS HORRENDUS and VULTURIUS, i am extatic, Vulturius never ceases to amaze me with his musical genius....MORTE INCANDESCENTE already stole my heart with a previous release...From the kick off with such a gem as "Pela Noite Dentro"....you can't imagine how much it brings me to transe to listen to bands singing in their native language rather than in English....it is like a special treat to me, reason why i LOVE the Lusitanian scene so much....but don't get me wrong, such songs as "Black Skull Crushing Metal" or "Dazzling Sorrow Might" are equally amazing to tear my soul apart...I totally love that Hellhammer/Celtic Frost feeling in "Doce Sabor A Morte" which shows depressive black metal can still stick to a very old school feeling. "Necro Culto" got these amazing depressive mood in one guitar while the other does this sort of hammering riffs that perfectly match with the drum hammering like it would be played with human bones. And these guitar riffs...TOTALLY DARKTHRONE...i love that combination, it reminds me the times of Transilvanian Hunger....I am truly nostalgic of these times and MORTE INCANDESCENTE is for sure a special treat to anyone who is in dire of something taking over from DARKTHRONE's TRANSILVANIAN HUNGER or PANZERFAUST albums...and that person is definitely myself on the list! Just good old pure old fashioned black metal like in the mid 90's, but with a depressive twist added! Highly Recommanded!
