and life and joy,
adding the numbers of countless words.
Invading,
pervading,
immolating by fire what cannot be accounted for.
Where are we when we are most needed?
When was our finest hour,
our bleakest moment?
Whatever comes out of not taking
and giving
is never unnacounted for.
Troublesome,
meddlesome,
the essence of women,
the blood pouring out into seas.
Rising,
swooning,
living,
the pulsing of life on her knees.
The intaking,
outaking,
breaths and babies and cherry pies,
hags, bedridden,
lovers and beauties and magpies.
Witches or fairies,
angels and demons,
the core of earth's business.
Numbers and figures
statistics and markets,
luxury is vacant.
Bleached hair, polished nails,
what was there before them?
And what will come after?
The essence of women,
a mistery darkened by deeds from the past.
The loveless, guileless, pale phantom
of youth, and that body
we all crave to reach...
The lies that they sell us,
the stories they tell us,
the ache and the pain and the scabb on her knees.
The blood of the harvest,
first time together,
the myths of orgasmic divinity.
The flooding of pads,
the bodies, the beds,
the witnesses naked with eyes.
The essence of women,
what scares you in them?
Whatever they say
it's all lies...
