fiery red and bittersweet,
echoing the rise of a new decade,
watching the echoes
of yesteryears fade.
There be dragons
in the night,
royal blue and pierced with light,
catching the stars with their eyes,
soaring through the skies.
There be dragons
fierce and blunt,
and announcements
of a new dawn that arises,
ebbed in with a lick of flame
and countering the prophet's name,
with a stranger force that rises.
There be dragons
quick and fast,
there be lights from the past,
and damsels dressed in white,
and echoes in the night,
and a new life egging near...
There be dragons who never fear.
