Hello everyone!

We are three guys visiting Portugal in May and we will stay in Porto, Aveiro, Lisboa and Faro. We are wondering if someone can recommend any good metal music venues or bars in these cities? Basically any type of recommendation is appreciated, but we prefer the music heavy and the beers plentiful!

These are the days we will be in each city in case you know any specific concert we should go to:
Porto: 15th-16th of May
Aveiro: 17th of May
Lisboa: 18th-19th of May
Faro: 20th-22nd of May

Not metal bars, more rock or punk music, but in Lisbon and Porto there's great places where you can have great Portuguese and International craft and others beers.

Kontruversus (plays all kinds of metal), but I don't know if stills open

In Faro, the mandatory zone is "Rua do Crime" (crime's street) or around.
Near Faro, you have the Eddie's bar, property of Steve Harris, but I don´t know if stills open.

If you go to Algarve just for the beach and night live, instead of Faro, I recommend Albufeira and mainly Lagos <3. And in Portimão you have for shure two open rock/metal bars.

Seconded. Even if there are not metal bars around, there's a 2 km long street (Avenida Sá Carneiro) that ends near the beach and has bars both sides all the way. I bet you'll find lots of fun stuff to do there!
