BELPHEGOR has conjured forth the most vicious release of their 24 year band-career so far. Today, the band release another studio trailer showing founding member, front man, guitarist Helmuth Lehner during the recording process of leads, overdubs and concert guitar.

We are pleased to announce that our third full length album “Mirror Reaper” will be released on October 20th through Profound Lore Records.

The album was produced and mixed by Billy Anderson (Swans, Sleep, Neurosis) and contains a continuous 83-minute piece unfolding as a single track. This is our first recorded album with Jesse Shreibman (drums, organ), and again features honorary band member Erik Moggridge (Aerial Ruin).
The title “Mirror Reaper” is indicative of the Hermetic axiom ‘As Above, So Below,’ written with two sides to form one whole. The song is both its own and its reflection, as an opposite is whole only with its contrary. Our focus as a band has always been the perception of ghosts and the implied archetype of the dichotomy of life/death therein. “Mirror Reaper" is a continuation of that concept.
During the writing process we were devastated by the loss of our dear friend and former drummer, Adrain Guerra. In love and respect to his memory, we reserved an important yet brief section in the song for him that features unused vocal tracks from our last album. This specific movement serves as a conceptual turn in the piece, or point of reflection. We believe he would be proud of it as well.
“Mirror Reaper” was the first collaborative writing project with the new lineup, and Adrian’s death during it brought extra emotional weight. We sought to match the complexity and weight of these events within the composition of the piece.

True Norwegian black avant-gardists ENSLAVED have announced the release of their epic new studio album for October 13th, 2017. This 14th full-length masterpiece sets the musical mind-twisters free from genre boundaries and offers a unprecedented mix of prog, extreme metal and shoegaze on 8 tracks with a play time of more than an hour. Elegantly titled »E«, the album was once again written by the unholy alliance of guitarist Ivar Bjørnson (music, lyrics) and singer/bassist Grutle Kjellson (lyrics) and marks the introduction of their new keyboard master and clean vocalist Håkon Vinje. Mixed and mastered at the Fascination Street Studios by the renowed Jens Bogren, »E« heralds a new era for ENSLAVED. Its cover artwork was once again hand-painted by the Norwegian artist Truls Espedal. As support for their brave sound journey, the quintet brought several guest musicians on board for the songs 'Hiindsiight' and 'Feathers Of Eolh', including WARDRUNA's Einar Kvitrafn Selvik, flutist Daniel Mage and jazz saxophonist Kjetil Møster.

Quando regressar de férias espero ter a tape na caixa de correio

A Pesanta continua a ser a pior experiência que alguma vez tive. Final de Julho, 10 meses depois da encomenda recebo um e-mail a dizer que tinha sido enviada a voz dos CDs de Hell. Contudo, sem todos os itens pagos!!! Para além disso, a encomenda não foi enviada para a morada disponibilizada em inúmeros e-mails que mandei a informar. Incrível.

Swedish symphonic extreme metal masters Zornheym are now streaming their new track "Whom the Night Brings..." from their debut album “Where Hatred Dwells and Darkness Reigns”. The new album is scheduled to be released on the 15th of September of 2017 via Non Serviam Records!

"I think this song is the easiest to understand the heart of this album" Zorn says "I remember demoing this track to our singer, Bendler, in the studio and he was so excited to dig his teeth into this one. Any old Devian fans out there? The solo section was originally written for Devian’s third album, which was never released. I have always loved that part and to expand upon it with our string and choir section just added so much more depth to it!”

“Following on the notion that one can never reach full potential out in the open being a slave at heart it all comes down to - plain and simple - rising above and stepping over and beyond all force-fed limitations in order to accomplish honest satisfaction, fulfillment and unsuppressed growth as an individual.” - about the concept behind the lyrics comments Darky, a long-time friend of the band considered to be its spirit member who has also contributed to the lyrics.

“To accompany the fierce and powerful lyrical content of “The I”, we developed an equally strong-minded visual concept resembling the appearance of medieval scriptures. It refers to the intense religious critique omnipresent in each song and depicts the ancient spirit of rebellion at the same time.
The cover illustration reflects the general notions of the album – centrality, elucidation and guidance. In the center of the image, the Devilish Impressions’ sigil represents the band’s everlasting propaganda of the aforementioned philosophy. The morning star on top of the sigil radiates enlightenment and wisdom upon and through the darkness of religion and blind belief. Each lyric is coupled with an old engraving modified in a certain way to create a stronger bond with the text. The carefully crafted typography and layout reinforce the antique and authentic look of the artwork.” - comments Infected Minds, the entity responsible for the album’s cover illustration, artwork and layout.

Recorded at various studios, including Dobra12 (drums) and Icaros Studio (guitars) the disc was mixed and mastered at Impressive Art Studio by Przemyslaw Nowak who also handled vocals recording sessions and guitars’ re-amping. The album’s artwork, design and layout were created by Infected Minds. Photo session by Robert Zembrzycki and Pawel Kowalski of Bandphoto.pl

The album features special guest appearances by MERCYFUL FATE / KING DIAMOND’s guitarist Mike Wead and by Norway’s dark metal masters AETERNUS’ vocalist / guitarist Ares. Other artists who also contributed to the record are shamanic ritual meditative experimental act BÖN and Impressive Art Studio’s owner Przemyslaw Nowak who came up with interludes, additional background tunes and effects.

The title chosen, “The I”, for the record is not only a phonetic acronym of the band’s name, but above all it reflects the manifesto they stand for since the Horde’s inception in the year 2000 – the notion of freedom of choice and will. A supremacy of an individual over any external factors being imposed on us by others, with special emphasis on convictions, dogmas and paradigms. “The I” is a rebellious manifesto targeted against all those who stand opposed to anything that drives us towards individual perfection.
